EPG Engines Proudly Supporting Cancer Council’s Mystery Box Rally 2025

At EPG Engines, we believe in powering not only engines but also communities. That’s why we are proud to sponsor Scott Facey and Ali Debono from Creative Works Constructions as they take on the Cancer Council’s Mystery Box Rally 2025, a cause close to the hearts of many Australians.

Driving for a Cure

The Mystery Box Rally isn’t just any road trip. It’s one of the largest community-led fundraising events for Cancer Council Australia, having raised over $8 million in the past 12 years.

In 2025, the rally will officially begin with a Pre-Rally Driver Briefing in Broken Hill on August 15th, departing the following morning and returning on August 20th. Over those five days, teams will drive their own 25+ year old cars along a mystery route across outback roads. The route is a loop, starting and finishing in Broken Hill, but every day’s path remains a surprise, revealed only each morning.

This is a challenge for those who crave adventure, want to make lifelong friends, and seek something truly memorable, all while raising much-needed funds for cancer research.

Why We’re Getting Behind It

Cancer touches the lives of so many families, including within our own community. By supporting Scott and Ali’s efforts, EPG Engines is helping to raise funds that will go directly to Cancer Council, funding vital research, prevention programs, and support services for those affected by cancer.

As engine specialists, we know the importance of reliability and endurance. But when it comes to the fight against cancer, it’s people like Scott and Ali who embody true grit and determination. We’re honoured to be fueling their journey.

More Than a Rally

The Mystery Box Rally is about more than just cars and kilometres; it’s about connection, resilience, and purpose. Many of us have been touched by cancer, whether through parents, family, friends, or even our own battles. This rally brings people together to not only raise awareness and money for Cancer Council but also to offer support, camaraderie, and a friendly ear to those who need it most.

A Final Word

At EPG Engines, we’re proud to stand alongside Scott and Ali, the Box Rallies team, and the Cancer Council. Supporting this journey is more than sponsorship; it’s about driving change, fueling hope, and rallying together for a future without cancer.
